Seaforth offers some of the best fishing to be found around Mackay and the Whitsundays, it is extremely popular with many anglers. because of this there are world class facilities to accommodate the needs of the weekend fisherman.
There are two main boat ramps in Seaforth one on Victor Creek in the west, and one on Seaforth Creek in the east. There is an additional boat ramp just outside of town at Constant Creek, launching from any beach is also permitted.
There is plenty of fish to be had and some of the more common ones are Mackerel, Coral Trout, Flathead, Whiting, Bream, Sweet Lip, Red Throat, Barramundi, Grunter, Tusk Fish, Trevally, Nanagai, Red Emperor. There is also plenty of places to lay a crab pot and plenty of big mud crabs waiting to be found.
